Default Hood Graphics

Got a new Coupe and flirting with some hood decals. Anyone with pros, cons, experience photos?

Most of the time they are ugly and tacky!! But that's just my opinion.

I've seen some that really look great while others make a train take a dirt road! It's all in how it's done like anything with these cars...

Anything more than a stripe or perhaps the small hash marks (over the wheel well) are a mistake IMHO. Even then, I'm generally not fond of 'graphics' on a street car. I've seen some stripes that look OK on a C6 but they tend to make the Corvette look 'Viperish.' To each their own though...once you decide and stick them on the car post some pics. Good luck!

I really like mine. I think I might even have the same pattern painted on instead of the decals.

Some are way cool, others are silly ... like mine ... bottom line, do what you want and like. There is also the paint vs. vinyl issue, paint is way cooler ....

Anyhow, mine's an extra/spare hood I put on-or-off for football or baseball games, and can always switch to stock ... but you are stuck with that - so sorry. Go GAMECOCKS!

Ohhhh, so you are from near here (and a fellow ZHZer). NChasn High is in the news big time now, due to a new Principal being hired, after they had a 60% drop out rate or something.

You must have been there when it was better, and it used to be one of the best. I went to S'ville (class of '78) and am now back here (Mt. Pleasant) after 10 years in NY & CT.

It's easy to be a gamecock fan when they win 2 national baseball championships in a row, the f'ball team is rising, and we have great box seats for the games. So where are you now Andrew?

Living in Houston now. . . I graduated in '99 back when NCHS was #1 in the state in basketball and ranked nationally. I played football and was the only white guy on the football team my senior year. As for the college teams I'm fans of... University of Southern Mississippi and Ole Miss. I pretty much like SEC teams for the most part.

Forgot to add Summerville and Stratford cheated us a couple times. Somehow we had a major lead and the "time keepers" forgot to run the clock at the end of games giving Summerville time to score damn green waves lol...

Dang, that's just not fair. Nice vision there Andrew, really nice, but I gots to top that now -so watch out! My family runs T&T Sports in N.Chasn, so you likely heard of that when you were here. The news is a white principal was just hired for N. Chasn (a 40% grad rate last year) ... and ALL heck is breaking loose, NCAAP has weighed in and its a mess. So you aren't missing much over here, 'cept for the HUD install party we have coming up. I Love S.Miss, they always push the limits, though I am a Nutt fan, not so much a rebel fan, watch out for the ***** and see ya ...
