Default 200 Dirty Cars at Bondurant

For those of you that don't live in the Phoenix metro area, allow me to enlighten you with what the "Valley of the Sun" bestowed upon us last night: A Haboob.

This dust storm hit about 7:30 last night and rolled through the valley bringing visibility to what seemed to be 100-200 feet. It was followed by a little bit of rain, juuuuust enough to turn that immense layer of dust into mud, but not wash anything off. As you can see, the air is still dusty today. I snapped a few pictures of some of the cars out here, but with nearly 200 vehicles left out in the elements, we have A LOT of cleaning to do.

Wow, I thought the dust storm just prior to the monsoon rain that hit us in Tucson was nasty but that is way more menacing looking.

Great pic.

Seems to be the norm there as Wikipedia has a Haboob covering Phoenix as one of its images.

My mom flew out to her place in Peoria AZ today and she said things didn't look to dusty around her place. Is it possible that part of the Phoenix area didn't get it? Was it more to the Southern part of the Phoenix area?

Wow. That 1st pic is incredible!
I was just at Bondurant a few months ago, for the 2 day ZR1 class. Wonderful facility!
Looks like a lot of cleanup work.

A couple of microfibers and some detail spray should do it.

I live in Ahwatukee, about 6-7 miles from you guys.
No way in hell you could see 100 feet! I couldn't see my back fence, which is 30 feet from the back door I was looking through. 1/8" of dirt on the patio.
If you need some help "blowing" the dust off those cars - I'm available, and close by
