I don't get why Cyber2010 said that the choice of wheels is a generational thing. Personally I like the chrome wheels and I am 32 so I don't believe it is an age thing.

Just an anecdotal observation, certainly not absolute. I just notice younger people more often choose or prefer something other than chrome. Again, that's just in the circles I run in and as with anything 'mileage may vary'.

Comp gray on cyber gray looks way

IMHO.

I don't think chrome looks good with gray however.

Thanks to all who have posted pictures and thoughts on the subject.

While I still prefer chrome, before during and after a time at the track I will have the grey spyders on my Z06.

By the way I am 53 and the chrome is probably a generational thing.

Grew up when Cragar SS was the wheel of choice.

I have a 2010 cyber grey GS with the grey powdercoat rims and love them. I drove 130 miles to get it with this combo. I also get a lot of compliments on it.
