Reason I ask is I wonder how the top would have looked, if the flag was rotated and was just on the "removable part."
I'd remove the little flags on the back and the black gas door. But it's not my car.
The flags on the back got me thinking, have you tried to incorporate the Dixie Flag into the C6 emblems?
Yeah its a Z06....my roof's not removable unfortunately. I wish it was. The flags on the back are the same ones at the General Lee from the TV show.....I wanted to keep it as close as possible.
since I was a HUGE dukes of hazard fan as a kid and one of my old bosses actually bought a general lee from John Schneider himself..... I actually like it.
It’s not being politically correct or not, it’s supporting leaders (or anyone really) who are decent human beings that have regard for fellow citizens - neither of which describe the two Individuals the OP supports, or you apparently.
Guess you don't know your history and perhaps get your news a bit one sided.

You’re clearly joking. Yes I’m fairly well-versed in history & no I don’t get my news one-sided. A large part of my profession is research, of which understanding how to vet sources and investigate bias is very important.
Take the political affiliation away & the fact the OP takes time to get TV-show, period accurate stickers but puts the sticker scheme on wrong make of vehicle makes it that much more stupid.

With the inaccuracies in some of the claims by others clearly show many do not. The owner obviously enjoyed the Dukes of Hazard and while the car is different than the show there is a relation with the show and the Corvette. They actually used a Corvette paint code to paint Lee #3. While it isn't the same car, I would much rather drive a Chevy Corvette than any Chrysler product. There are tons of non Chargers painted in a similar manner from VW Bugs, to Smart Cars, to Vans, to basically almost every make out there. More than one Vette painted in the same manner, so must be more than a single person's PoV.
Comes down to, IMO, it's his car he can do what he likes. While I wouldn't do it, I don't disparage someone for doing it, nor worry about people with different views than me. That is the beauty of this country, and many would like to shred every last freedom we have. That is where my "Screw the PC" comment comes from.
We can't erase our history, or we are doomed to repeat it. It is what got us to where we are. Even mistakes can be learned from.

This statement I fully agree with. Along with that the dislike and/protest over this flag, statues, etc. is not being politically correct, it’s understanding that these things/people should not be celebrated. Understand that for many in this country the Confederate flag is analogous to the **** flag of Germany. While painting a **** symbol on the car or even as a front license plate would garner almost universal distain & condemnation, there is a good % of people who don’t find that same distain with the Confederate flag because of upbringing, heritage or whatever justification they give.
Yes it’s OP’s car & he can do whatever he wants with it but he posted it to get a rise out of people which just shows immaturity & lack of understanding.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
