So all of the sudden when I roll down my passenger side window about half way down it squeals horribly. I am pretty sure it's just the surface of the entry of the window into the door being super dry or something.
Anyone have a home remedy on adding some moisture to that section?
It doesn't seem to do it after I wash the car and it gets damp, but then it some back.
Silicone spray? You will have to clean the window edges afterward, but this should take care of it.
My Honda Ridgeline pickup has a sliding rear window that squeaked at about 3 years old. After carefully applying various lubes and the squeak returning, I finally let fly with the spray can and plastic tube tip and it hasn't squeaked a year.
Mine did that and then it stuck. The dealer replaced the regulatior. Six months later the driver window did the same thing. They replaced that one also. Glad I have the GMPP.

I was thinking it was going to just stop also, but it continues to roll down fine. Just sounds horrible right in the middle of it rolling down.
