Either it's a really long 22 seconds or I have a really short attention span.
IT TAKES FOREVER and I just sit there - pushing the button like a chimp. We can overcome this ... who's with me ... or him (he's probably a lot nicer than me)???
No, he never lowers it. And to think about it, that is genius?
Actually, just the opposite. The weather is so nice in San Diego, I haven't driven with the top up yet this year.
I can raise/lower the top much faster than the auto, do it with one hand. I've never had the need to raise/lower while in motion so that's not a factor.
I considered an automatic top at first. Just too many problem I've read about. That plus the extra weight, and although only about 17lbs of additional weight , it's too much. I've spent considerable effort reducing weight. Got it under 3,000lbs now.
Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed away from some of the other "must haves" including that obsolete nav system, On$tar, XM/Sirius & the so called premium Bose stereo. Glad I at least made the right call getting the manual top.
