Default C7 stuff

Dunno if anyone has seen this but I came across it while looking for some info on the original 1963 split window Vwtte.

C7 Corvette Will Have a Split Window

This was hinted at by the Corvette Stingray concept that was used in the second Transformers movie. "That car is not the next Corvette," says Welburn, "But the split-window is something that I expect for the next Corvette."
See the whole piece here...

That is old news and is said to be a rumor.

IMO there is way too much speculation on the C7.

Until the 1st C7 hits the ground, it's all unsubstantiated rumor .

No, GM is not that stupid. No one would want a rear window that makes it that much harder to see out of.

JimTN,

No, GM is not that stupid. No one would want a rear window that makes that much harder to see out of.
Hold your horses! That is contrary to what the article says. It quotes Mr. Welburn, head of GM global design and father of the new Camaro as saying, "But the split-window is something that I expect for the next Corvette." The article might correct or it might not be but it certainly contradicts your opinion.

The split window looks good .... But wait! .... Are those rear fender fins straight off a 1959 Chevy?

No, I guess not ... there too fat and ugly to be from a 59 Chevy!

I heard the C7 is more like this:

An M3 decides to tailgate you or initiate a race, you unleash the beast within the C7!

I hope they get chrome bumpers too! Split window was done because they could make it one piece years ago, so why go backwards?
