There's absolutely nothing wrong with OEM replacements from your local dealership or gmpartshouse.com. They're inexpensive (about $20 / pair), they fit perfectly, and (with one little finger trick on the passenger side) they're easy to change.
I bought a set of Bosch "beam" style blades then noticed the "wing" on the stocker driver side wiper arm.
Not sure I want to go without what is supposed to keep the wipers planted properly at 140 MPH+?
That's why I went for the refills. The wipers were fine, just the rubber blades needed replacing. They're also cheaper, less than $20 for both refills, vs. $20 each for a new wiper.
Factory replacements seem good...gmpartsdirect or one of the forum sponsors.
My favorite also. Yiou can buy just the refills, or the complete assembly. I alternate with refills one year, complete assembly the next year.
If you go into a dealership and buy blades, there's a good chance you won't get the GM parts. Many dealers sell aftermarket blades, you may need to have them order the factory stuff. No too expensive.
I like the factory arms so I just replaced the rubber with refills from NAPA for $7.
This is what I did. I was in a jam and needed some new blades so that my car would pass inspection, one of the blades had split along the edge. I was in a hurry and went to Auto Zone and picked a pair up. They did not work well at all. I later replaced them with NAPA refill blades and I have been very happy with them.
I know some of you don't use them but I do. I wiper blades need replacing. We finally got rain today and my wipers make a noise that would wake the dead. Also skipping some. Are there any that are better than others as far as vettes go?
I use the PIAA Super silica blades (Tire Rack) with the spoiler on the drivers side wiper. They seem work well.
