Default Wipers ?

I know some of you don't use them but I do. I wiper blades need replacing. We finally got rain today and my wipers make a noise that would wake the dead. Also skipping some. Are there any that are better than others as far as vettes go?

By the way send some of that rain down here to Texas. We are in a severe drought.

I wish I could! we are in a bad drought too but you guys are worse than us. We got alittle today but the ground is still so dry. There is a bayou right down the road from my house and it is almost drier up...This year is really bad. I guess I picked the wrong year to plant new sod, bushes and trees. . I was kind of hoping that hurricane would decide to come this way just for some rain.
My niece lives in Austin and its hotter than a .... Hopefully we will all good some rain soon. I will try to push the next thunder storm your way.

Check out the new "structureless" wipers. They not only work great but look great.

I'm getting old, so don't remember. What is the usual WallyWorld/KMart wipers with the yellow and black package? These were terrible on wife's Cadillac. Squealed from the first use. Also don't remember the replacements I bought, but I know I spent more and they are fine.

Like most here...hardly drive my Vert in the rain. But the wipers do rot out from the sun. I got a set of "teflon" inserts from Napa, cut them to fit and inserted them into the factory blades.

Geeezzzzz... appears no one has anything but smart-azzz answers for this guy asking for legitimate help. So no one has any experience with a good replacement for wiper blades? wow.

A tip for those who use wipers. Wipe the rubber blades with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag. This will clean the rubber and prevent streaking.

+1

Wiper blades used to come with an alcohol wet-wipe pack for this purpose.
