Default microfibre towell

Does anyone know the secret of how to keep microbibre towells from stiffining up after a couple washes.I seem to get only a few usus from each one for taking the wax off the car and then they stiffen up and get rough feeling so i am afraid of using them to avoid scratching the vette during wax off...Any ideas or am i just going to have to keep buying new ones every few waxes.i have quite a pile now i don't dare use.Tanks-a-bunch..

Griots makes a microfiber and foam pad cleaner that you add to your washer, use hot water and it will take the old wax right out!

I always wash all my car towels in hot water in the wash machine after each use and they always come out of the dryer soft and fluffy.

Do not use any fabric softener or detergent when you wash them in hot water and they should be fine.

I use a dedicated microfiber detergent from Autogeek. I set the washer for 15 pre-soak, and extra rinse. Drying is done on extra-low heat. The towels come out as soft as new.

Don't use heat to dry them either.

Dedicated wash with "Micro-Restore" sold by AutoGeek. Use dryer ***** in the dryer to keep them fluffy. Been doing this for years. The MF towels stay like new

I use Woolite to wash all my fine detailing towels. What ever you do, if you use regular detergent.. dont use powder!

Heat will melt the little fibers and ruin the towel.

I go to wally mart and buy a pack of 8 for $5. When it gets dirty I use it as a grease rag then in the trash it goes.
For .60 why risk it? Use a new one!!

If you use a SS sink to wash them in, the sink comes out looking like new when using Woolite. Unreal.

My wife washes mine in the washing machine. I don't know how to or allowed to turn it on. They always turn out like new.

Now this is just a tad off your subject. I purchased one of the Master Blaster's and you hardly ever need a towel.

Good luck, this solved my problem.

Enjoy your holiday weekend.
