EGADS...the horror.

Did they tell you how it happened? Did it fall off the lift somehow?

Like I said before send it down to Santa Ana. They will pay the towing both ways. Look over the web site I sent you. You cant find a better shop. imo
Mike

Have the car shipped to Santa Ana ca. couple hundred miles but hands down a first class shop with the high end modern autos. You won't find a better equipped shop, and the owner works with his tools everyday. Aston Martin takes new composites and bonding to the next level. They are factory trained at Aston, Lotis & Jag.

You would not believe the color match blend they did on a factory custom tangerine orange drophead that I saw the last time I was at their shop.

I fail to understand how identify and use jack points on a car, from anyone that has ever jacked up more then a few cars. It's not rocket science. Every car has jacking points and they are always easily identifiable. Even the Audi R8...

Default Ouch major bummer

Well I don't know about the laws where you live. Here In Ontario Canada
we are riquired by law to dissclose any acident repair over $3000.00
Sure you can still get someone to buy the car but usually at a signifigant reduction in price. Now try and get your insurance co to cough up some coin for that

I am in this boat right now. All they have to do is replace the fender and blend the paint a little. But it will show up on a carfax report and will decrease the value of my car regardless of how minor it was.

I have researched diminished value quite a bit and of course the burden of proof is on me.

Any of you have experience with this sort of thing?

I will be consulting a couple of diminished value companies after the car is fixed. dvassess.com & collisionclaims.com

Here is a link to some pictures of my deli-ma.

Dang! My local Goodyear shop (1/2 mile away) will not work on Corvettes, even when I wanted to buy 4 new tires back in Feb.

What is the deal with them not knowing about the rocker-jack points?

Did u ask for puck or pads to be used

Ford GTs use pucks and owners stand and watch as they are used & car is raised
