Apsis is having a sale on their steering wheels until the end of the month. I just ordered my second one from them, it is this one, but instead of the black leather on the wheel, mine will be Black Super Alcantara.

Also, budget into the price getting the air bag cover done, the nicest steering wheel looks so unfinished if you still use the stock plastic air bag cover.

My wifes wheel, pic doesn't do it justice at all.

If $1500 is your budget then hands-down get a Caravaggio! Caravaggio is $795 plus core.

You gotta consider thickness as well. I was going to get a DSV wheel at one point but very glad I didn't. I just so happened to meet a vette owner with one and was able to put my hands on it and the feel was totally not for me. You gotta have some huge hands or really love a thick wheel to favor the DSV wheel.

Last year at another show I met someone with a Caravaggio wheel and the second my hands hit it I knew it was the wheel for me. The grip for how I handle the wheel was PERFECT!

Just wanted to throw that out there as a consideration, but then again price is usually folks biggest consideration. I like to remember that I touch nothing more inside the car than the steering wheel so I better love it.

The first pic is the wrong wheel I received from DSV, the 2nd is the correct 3D replacement I got tonight (AB cover is from Apsis) ...

This is sweet! I looked on the Apsis website and its about as bad as a website gets. No pictures, not a site I would typically order from.

I think you've gotten the 3 best options. I went with DSV because they were much cheaper, but if money is no object.... Also, I was afraid to do the airbag cover, but I love what APSIS does with them. Here's mine, stitching color to match the rest of the interior.

Alot of people are skeptic about covering the original design of the airbag cover in the center of the steering wheel.. I agree...I ordered my wheel from dsv and they do not sell their wheels with the airbag cover...what happens with those covers if, unfortunately, the airbag deploys in the event of an accident??? Have they been tested or is it that everyone is just interested in cosmetics???

I posted about this in another thread, the Apsis air bag cover is NO match for the airbag, There is a testimonial with pics from a customer that shows his custom air bag cover ripped to shreds as the air bag saved his life. I am a firefighter and have taken many courses on air bag deployment, believe me a few threads are not going to stop that bag from deploying. I will look for the link and post it if I can find it.

There is the link (2 posts up), the bag comes right through it and the fabric goes to the sides.
