Pull one off and check it out. It will be very loose it it is bad.(like a bad ball joint) Only 2 nuts to remove.

^Agreed - the first few times that mine popped, I thought I had run over something and it was hitting the bottom the car - its a definate clunk or low pop. As they get more more worn, you can make them pop by driving over uneven pavement slowly or turing slow turns.

Based on what you have described it sounds like the end links are toast. Easy fix, great DYI project.

"Sway bar bushings tend to just squeak when worn, so if it is a clunk felt in the floor pan over bumps, the first thing I would check would be the exhaust hitting under the car. There could be steering or suspension or brake problems, drive shaft or u-joint problems, or any number of things. The other things would usually have associated complaints such as "I get this when I am turning right up a slight incline" or ad infinitum. If you would like to drop it off again some day, I am sure one of our technicians could figure that rascall out for you."

Hmm.... Is it bad to have more confidence in total strangers that are members of this forum than I do the service manager at the Chevy house?? Uggh.....
He sounds completely incompetent. Sway bar BUSHINGS and END LINKS are not the same componant. Bushings will squeak, but end links will clunk, knock or rattle.

kb13kb13 – if you do decide to go to the dealership, please let me know so I can make sure everything is taken care of. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a PM.

I went ahead and took my car to the dealership this morning to have them look at it.

Within an hour and a half of dropping it off they were already calling me with the diagnosis. Was just as what most of ya'll were saying... the sway bar endlinks were bad. They're putting new ones on the front and back. So problem should be solved! But I'll post for sure once I actually get it back and drive it around a little bit.

PS-Thanks again to everybody who posted and shared their opinions and info with me. A HUGE help!

doesn't it make you feel good when you can educate the entire service department of a dealership from those same "anonymous" persons on a Corvette Forum? AND get the car (hopefully) serviced correctly?

wow, what a win-win situation.

Just make sure you check for broken rocker panels before you leave.
