Discount Tire
Sharing a positive experience from today -- Made me a appointment with Discount Tire on their website to repair left rear tire. Had a slow leak (Nail). Guys handle my Vette with care, Repaired and balance tire, Rebalance the other tires, Had their own jacking pucks. And they did all of this FREE of Charge. May be worth looking into for some of you other Corvette owners when it's time to repair or buy.
The only place I have bought tires at for the last 25 years. Never ever had a problem with them and they always go out of their way to keep you happy.
Tried a set of Pirelli's on my Mercedes E Sedan instead of the standard OEM Michelin's and after 12 months just could no longer handle the wandering on the freeway and the flat spot noise every morning. Went in to talk with them to check on going back to the Michelin's. They apologized for suggesting the Pirelli's in the first place and I went out the door with all new Michelin's installed for $175 total cost.

Have always used them, great service at reasonable prices.
My last two DDs have been new cars and I go to Discount Tire and buy their Road Hazard Ins, which gets you a balance and rotation every 5 to 6K miles. The road hazard has paid for it's self on a couple occasions where a tire was not repairable, you just pay Tax & RHI (On the new tire) and you are good to go.

I went there last week because I thought I had weights fall off my rear tire. They checked the balance, said it was old adhesive, still rebalanced the tire (it was off by a small margin), and let me go free of charge.
Countless time they have taken care of me and my cars.. at multiple locations nonetheless. Awesome company to deal with.

Nothing but positive experiences from my dealing with DT as well. Have bought six sets of tires between the 'Vettes, kid's cars, wife's vehicle and my driver. They have no problem mounting runflats or custom wheels and being tires is all they do are not trying to push other services (suspension, brakes, etc.) while your car is in their hands.

Plus, ya can't beat the 18 mos interest free using their in house card. It is also good at Exxon stations btw.
I went to one of the big bulk stores (C*stc*) and they quoted me a great price on a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus run flats. They were also having a $75 rebate a the time. Took it to Discount Tire, and not only did they match the price (with the rebate) they beat it , taxes and all. I get them installed on my new wheels tomorrow, and will post pics.
It does pay to shop around, but they will match prices.

I've had good results with them in the past, but the last two times, not so much. They scratched my wheels, replaced my metal valve stem caps with plastic, and came within 5 seconds of jacking the car up without pucks, even though I mentioned it to them when I gave them the keys, and left pucks on the passenger seats. (they started jacking the car up, but fortunately both the shop foreman and I walked back there just in time)
This was the Discount tire in Redmond/Bellevue, WA. I will not be returning there. Heard from someone who works with them that he's seen a lot of similar experiences, as they're really churning through cars.

I've always had great service and experiences with Discount Tire. They'll meet or beat any online tire price and if I want, they'll even get me tires they normally don't carry. They've changed so many track tires for me without charge I almost feel guilty going there. There have been other things they've done for me too. The founder and majority owner lives in Arizona...according to my friends who work at DT they say he stresses customer service...going the extra mile...even doing things for free on occasion. It works...I'll be a customer for life!
Discount Tire is a wonderful place to buy tires from.. They always promise to take good care of my Vette and that's why I just bought $2k worth of tires from them for my Z06... The manager is a Vette owner and either does the work himself or keeps a watchful eye on whomever is doing the work!! Wouldn't even dream of going anywhere else..
Thanks for sharing the positive experience with them. I've always had great service on my trucks, and this morning the DIC told me I had 20lbs in the right rear tire.
I just recently had my F150 in for a screw in the tire and they handled it in 15 minutes.
I'll be taking the Vette over.

I buy all my tires and take my DD there. On the vette, I take off the wheels at home and drive them to their shop.
The one nearest to me employs a bunch of kids who are always in a big hurry. They've messed up a few things on my DD and I don't feel confident of them not cracking a rocker panel and using the air wrenches on my vette.
