Driver Side Window Squeaks
06 vert 43000 miles.When outside temp is hot near 100 degrees window squeaks going up and down. I tried lubing the rubber. That did not help. Any ideas what could be causing this noise? I have appt Friday with dealer. But if it doesn't squeak I doubt if they can fix this problem. Also does GMPP cover this?

But if the squeak is caused by something actually failing, like the window motor or regulator, then it should be covered.

I had the same problem with my 2005 coupe. I sprayed some vinyl lube on both sides of the window. I then ran the window up and down many times. The squeek did not go away right away but within a week was gone. The window has been quiet for a year.
