Too loud!!!

Hey guys , I finally got to drive my car GS 2011 convertible for the first time, WOW WOW is al I can say I drove it for 10 hours straight to SC . ECS did an incredible clean install of edelbroch supercharger and headers ( insane power)however when I eventually put my itchy foot flat the dual exhausts went from a purring cat below 3000 rpm to an insane growl of a 1000 lions , thought the back of my car was not there, its sound amazing however in my neighbourhood I will be very unpopular and I need to put some silencer or something to really softhen the noise without sacrifice

- anyone have any ideas

ha ha HILERIOIUS guys, I forgot to mention one thing , the car is going to africa and it will be be the only one on there its just to avoid getting to much attention as I do drive like a maniac .... , and the problem is I cant stay below 3000 rpm ...

As they say, if it's too loud then you're too old.

Keep the RPMs down in your neighborhood and get a quieter muffler system. You don't want to scare those lions and giraffes.

You could swap out the NPP exhaust for a std C6 muffler. I bet people would wait in line to swap with you.

You plan on shipping the car to Africa (and driving it there) and you want to avoid getting too much attention. Something isn't adding up. Trade the Corvette for a Land Rover.
