Default Need advice

At a good dealer getting balancer done and new end links.( all covered on my GMPP) . Zero out of pocket

They want to flush the coolant for $ 150.00

I've got 36k on my Vette.

Any thoughts on this?

Forget it. That coolant will be good for more than twice that long. They just don't want you to leave without spending some $ and thats what they came up with.

I believe DexCool coolant used in a Vette is good for time - 5 yrs - not mileage.

Look in your coolant tank and your radiator cap for sludge. If no sludge - no issue.

Sounds to me like they're trying to re-coup some cost... maybe they didn't save your original coolant when they drained it for the balancer change.

They have to drain the coolant to swap out the harmonic balancer?
