Default a sad day when...

...you see your car being placed on a flatbed to be hauled away to the shop because she's not starting.

She has 99k on her. Brought it at 900 miles and never had a problem. My Mechanic is excellent so I have high hopes. Just rather not have to do this.

Btw is there anything I need to do once it hits 100k...maintenance wise?

I'm sorry about the mechanical problem but look at it this way....you're that much closer to fixing the problem and driving the car again. At least the tow truck driver had lumber with him for clearance getting the car onto the flatbed. I hope it's an easy fix...good luck!

Read your manual on what they recommend around the 100k mark but my guess is the usual fluids, trans, diff, brake fluid flush/clutch fluid flush if manual trans, ect.

Oh my

One thing I do have to say with this forum. You never suffer alone. I always feel like you guys understand my pain.

Also I do drive her a lot. I smile every time I get in and start her up. Its been a great car. I truly cannot complain about this problem. I've never been to the shop other than for regular stuff...like oil changes, brakes etc.

I may be seeing things. But in your first Pic it looks like you have 2 different color side mirrors. Just curious.

You are correct sir...pass side is black. Long story short...pass side broke and the replacement from Gene came in primed black. Just lazy I guess in never getting it painted. On my to do list.

Funny thing is most people don't even notice it.
