i am doing a project on my car but can't decide which companies body kit to buy ?
i am planning to convert my car to z06 look
but i want the exact parts i mean all the parts that i need !
so i need someone who can i trust and complete the kit without any problem
waiting for your suggestions
I would go with parts taxi. Stick with oem gm parts. I used oem z06 rear panels on my 05 and used a cheap fiberglass knockoff z06 front on it and was kicking myself the whole time. The oem rear was a breeze and fit perfect, everyone thought that the car came that way. The front didn't fit very well at all the gaps were a little off and the quality wasn't great. I have the rear widebody on my 06 and have almost everything to do a grandsport front end (all oem this time).
I would keep a regular on on eBay for the front fenders and bumper. There are some large salvage yards that get Z06 fenders and bumpers in. If you take your time, you can find some deals. The Z06 fenders are just shy of $1500 from the vendors new because they are carbon fiber. I scored the front fenders and nose used and then Kevin at Parts Taxi got all the remaining pieces I needed at a great price. Definatley use GM parts for conversion, most aftermarket stuff doesnt fit very well.
