Ron, sending you a private e-mail, the disks should be in the mail to you in the next day or two. I even found the V 6.0 disks so you're in luck.

What is the difference between what you ordered and 20980240, which specifically says Corvette?

That is a good question because if you choose a 2012 Corvette in the disc selector it comes up with two discs at two different prices with the first one out of stock:

2011/12 Nav Disc-EU Corvette/STS 20980240 $229.00
2012 CHV/CAD/PON/SAB Navigation Disc 22820294 $199.99

If I select a 2007 Corvette I get just:

2012 CHV/CAD/PON/SAB Navigation Disc 22820294 $199.99

When I checked the 2012 CAD/CHV/SAB disc (which is in stock)was $100 cheaper that the 2012 'vette disc (which is not in stock).

Another example of Corvette owner scalping?????? This time by GM.......again!

That is what I was going to guess also. I know the European maps tend to run more money then the North American maps on other GPS devices.

But, if that is the Euro version, it has not shown up on the GMDAVDISC site in prior years.

FWIW, I filled in the info for our 2009 Corvette and it says the proper disc for 2012 is 22820294.

Just sent an email to GM Nav. I just picked up my 2012 GS and the dealer only installed one disk (there was only one disk in the package). I am reading that there are supposed to be 2 disks. I asked if there are 1 or 2, if there are any upgrades and if so how many and for how long) Also asked what they think the current version is. When I went to the dealer to day they said that next year updates will be made through the GPS and there will be no more disks used which I assume means there will be a hard drive or memory device of some sort. That would be a step in the right direction.

The latest 2012 version 8.0 map update is now on just one DVD DL disc and covers both East and West areas. Some of the prior versions like 2011 version 7 were on two discs, one for East and one for West area.

I have the latest and it is indeed on just one disc so you have the complete map.

Probably was printed from the last manual version long before the map discs were finalized for 2012. One disc is correct for 2012.
