Any wind the screen blocks is canceled-out by the wind created from everyone's roaring laughter as you drive by

(joking of course)

Got it and it works just fine. My wife's ears hurt with the wind, problem solved.

Either you love it or you hate it. You may have already gathered this.

I happen to love ours. Works great. Wife loves it.

Is this the one you mean?

http://www.windrestrictor.com/corvette/corvette.htm

My take on it:

On my C5 I used the VetteNet, which is essentially a framed screen that custom fits the vert, but does not allow you to put the top up without taking it off. The only time I really used it was when either my wife was in the car (she hates what top-down driving does to her hair), or on long drives (highway) when I just want to reduce drive noise. The main problem (that I have) with any wind restrictor is that it works best with the windows up. And I just think the Vette looks crappy with the top down and windows up - but that's just me.

I seriously considered the Wind Restrictor in the link above, and still may. But I still have my issues with top-down/window-up driving!

I just installed my WindRestrictor. It is great and the deciding factor was,
you don't have to remove it to put the top up..

Got mine lit but no etching. To me it is a cleaner look..............Ed

Having owned many convertibles in my lifetime.....the whole purpose of putting the top down is to get the wind in your hair.(with me that's a Oxymoron) I really like the clean look of a Vert without a windscreen. But thats just my opinion....you have to do whatever works for you.

I have the windrestrictor with the corvette lettering and C6 flag. I also have the illumination in red. I really like it and so does my wife. The one down side is that it reflects the lighting for the dash and when you need to lookto the side and behind it makes it harder to see. Other wise when the top is down it really looks great. I would buy this than the vette net.

Good for you! Post up your experiences when you've used it for a while.

Also, support forum vendors instead of directly from the manufacturer. Often they're offering better deals. Check around - but when I was snooping I think Redshift was selling them.
