Yep, I prepped mine for winter. Since it's started cooling off here I aired the tires back up to the correct pressure for the current morning low temperature. Mine won't go in the garage except when it's snowing. I enjoy driving it too much to put it up for the winter.

Yes. No worries.
I like to add the Sea-foam, then top off the tank, and drive a few miles, to get it mixed in the tank, and into the injectors.
Keeping the tank full helps prevent condensation in the tank.
In the spring, just drive as usual, and add fresh gas asap.
I do the same with mowers, weedwackers, snowmobiles...
Never have issues the next season.

Yep, they salted the roads in NOVA a few days ago and re-salted last night. Once they start they dont stop until April. I plan on keeping my car 20 years so no salt for me! I need to go out to where I store it and do a few things, but its almost storage ready as is. I am a bit bummed, last year they waited until X-Giving.

PS : I like SeaFoam as well, good stuff.

Question, how do you go about cleaning the undercarriage and suspension?
I jack my GS up, put the jacking pucks in place and set it down on jack stands on all four (4) corners.

Crawl under my GS with a bucket of soapy water, rag and wipe it down.

Mostly dust removal as my GS has never been in the rain.

Is it safe to leave a charger on the battery all winter with the car cover on. Thanks, Bob
Pumping up the tires to 40psi helps prevent flat spotting.

I believe it's a good practice to do your 1st oil/filter change at approximately 1,000 miles and then follow the percent oil life remaining as displayed on the DIC, not to exceed one (1) year maximum.

Whether you do the oil/filter change this fall or in the spring, that's up to you, many unique opinions in this area.

Hook up a true battery tender (not charger) on your GS and leave it on under your cover all winter, no problem at all.

When using the battery tender, do you leave the battery connected to the car or disconnect it?

Everything remains connected as normal.

The battery tender will automatically keep your battery in a fully charged state without the risk of overcharging and/or damaging your battery.

The bonus in keeping your battery in a fully charged state is the fact it will extent the life of your battery.

It's seems each time a battery has to recovery from a discharged state, it's life is impacted in a negative sense.

• Place Tires on Carpet Squares.
I don't store my Corvette during the winter, even though I am in the snowy Chicago area.

I'm curious, however, what the carpet squares have to do with storage. Sorry if I am ignorant on this point.
