If you don't like BBC Top Gear because Clarkson, Hammond or May have a different opinion about a particular car than you do, then just don't watch it. However, the show has been on in many countrys for many years and has won critical aclaim. It is, most likely, the best automotive show in history. The show is so good that Jay Leno, when asked to host the US version of Top Gear, (which is, like The Car Show, unwatchable), he turned down the offer because he said that nothing could compare to the BBC version, for Clarkson, Hammond & May are brilliant at what they do. So, if you are a true car person, put away any hurt feelings and watch and enjoy the show for what it has to offer. Or not.
I did agree with that statement as well. For 50K plus the Vette interior needs to look like a 50K car IMO.
I for one didn't agree with any of the other crap they had to say, but I'm biased and own a Vette. I love when they trash all of the other cars, expect my Vette!
I know, i posted the videos, but i dont recall seeing a NSX in those videos...
Look the first video, it's there.
Anyhow, Jeremy Clarkson is meant to entertain the British audience, who hate American cars. It really is that simple. He says he hates them so everyone at home gets a laugh.
When the ZR1 came out, it was his car of the year. On top of that, he bought one. He must like it an awful lot.
Yes, the Corvette is cheaply made. It just is. But you get what you pay for.
Let's not forget that JC owns a real piece of American history and racing heritage; a Ford GT. Doesn't get much more American than that so he can't hate American cars "that" much.

Well stated
Sad the American versions of Top Gear are so lame.

I have to agree with the comments on the interior. My current company vehicle is an 09 HHR. Oddly enough, there are many of the same parts(steering wheel, buttons, etc.) in my 07 Coupe. I was a bit surprised myself that a $20k car has the same interior parts as a $50k car. I guess that's GM saving a buck.
Corvette is still the best bang(HP) for the buck on the planet. Those "english twits" can go pound sand.
