just to look at the pic to see what fuse to replace,, got my own smart fuse, blew it, and put in in the spot shown..
I guess that is not the fuse for the skip shift? My car ran crappy and said check active handling.. I put the good fuse back in, the car now runs fine, but the engine check light is on.
Anyway to get rid of it without going to a dealer?
I clicked the link in your OP to see what fuse you did pull, and the link didn't really show much.
It is possible that you may need to run the car for a bit before the code will clear. Some times it clears by itself after a bit of driving, EG if it was a lose gas cap, other times it won't. If the car was running fine & is now running fine, and the only thing that happened was the botched fuse swap, I would drive it a little more. Best of luck!

Good to know,, I spend way to much time at Auto Zone buying stuff for my POS 86 Trans AM anyway. If it doesn't clear soon I will check with them.

Unless you have been told something different in your area, that is not true. They will for sure check the code for free but it is against company policy for them to clear the code. If they clear the code and something breaks, the store could be liable as they gave you the sense that everything was ok. AutoZone store manager told me that. Makes sense when you think about it.

If you don't have a code reader (which will clear CEL's) go to AutoZone. You might consider buying a code reader....they're not all that expensive and they're handy to have around. FWIW I use an Innova/Equus 3100 CanOBD2 diagnostic tool (one of their mid-range models). It does everything I need in a code reader. Good luck!
