Heard about this new Escort Live rader detection system that interacts with the Android or Smartphone. Not sure if they're available yet, doesn't look like it. Anybody have one or preordered it yet?

I just got one and yes, it works and will probably work even better as more of them get into circulation.

ETA: I have the Android phone version.

 

Check out "Trapster" for smart phones - its free. Not as techie-good but for the price it'll warn you of local "Barny Fifes" when you're traveling outside your normal stomping grounds. Couple it with a decent RD and you're golden

This is what I do. Trapster is a bit hard on the battery, but between it and valentine1 I have no tickets in the Z06. Now the Camaro is a differant story, dont know what it is about that damn thing, but been nailed in it a couple of times.
I guess I will get to compare the 9500 to the valentine1, since the ZR1 I am picking up next week has the 9500 built in.

 

Got a stealth mount STi, and I run Trapster on the iPhone when in unknown territory.
So far not one citation in almost 20 years. And people say I drive like a bat outta hell ...

 

I have the iPhone version. It works well, but need more of them in circulation.
