I made a thread like this too when I did my Big 3 upgrade.....people shat on the idea. No idea why. It absolutely made a diff in idle and cruise voltage.

Nothing to note so far, as I just did it, but am about to install 2 amps (1000 watts total), digital processor, 12 volt line driver, cell phone antenna booster and powering my iPod and V1. Word is it improves the overall voltage -as the power and ground are not split, filtered and stepped on. The battery charges better, works better and headlights won't flicker or dim. Could be snake oil, but seems logical replacing the stock 10 gauge ground wire and direct connect the alternator to the battery.

This is how mine ended up looking. I used 0/1 guage though. I've sinse replaced the AC Delco with an Optima Yellow Top.

Nice looking, what terminal clamps did you use?

They are from knukonceptz (do a search, I ONLY use their products now. Top notch stuff, great price.) They accept a 0/1, and a 4 guage into the terminal itself, and then any ring terminal in the center. Worked perfect for the vette.
