I am think about Corvette Nitrous Oxide kit for LS3 , seen and hear on Tv bad think about Nitrous , but when i look into it online it really not that bad and should be safe if used correct.
Nitrous Oxide does not explode correct??
Also If I were to run only about 50-75hp it would be safe on the LS3??
Should I get the car re tune??
There is a whole subforum devoted to Covette fuel injection and nitrous oxide. You might get a better response there. See the forum listings on the left side of this page...
Nitrous Oxide is not flamable. It's 2 parts Nitrogen + 1 part Oxygen. The air we breathe is 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen and the air we breathe isn't flamable.

You've never been in close proximity to my ex wife ................
Some will say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. It's cheap power and OK for drag cars but IMO if you care about your car you'll steer clear. I've known a couple guys who trashed their engines with nitrous. Your call......

No, technically it is not flammable, BUT, when combined with a vehicles air/fuel mixture it creates an intense rapid burn, and we have all seen a nitrous explosion, if you haven't, Google it. So, to dumb it down, yes it is flammable if things go wrong when you are spraying.
