Short story, got a decent 2005 blue coupe 39 month off lease. Black dashboard. The couple or family had a young daughter. How do I know? In the passenger seat, directly forward of the seat on the dashboard is a area 6"X9" where the dash has a whitish rough area. On a person, dermatological speaking, the skin is the toughest at two areas, the palms of the hands, and the feet. In this case, a young ladies heels and what do teenagers always do when in the passengers seat is put their bare feet up on the dashboard. The heel is always rough, about like 1000 grit sandpaper. Add Music and long road trips and in short order the dash has an area they despite what I try I can't find a dressing or product so far that will renew the plastic dash of the whitish scuff mark. Any ideas ? Thank you !
I'm sure there are many products that you can try, but you already have. And you want to do the least amount of damage. I'd consider going to a good detailer, a good interior shop (does convertible tops, leather seats, etc.) or even a restoration shop. You have a good restoration shop, probably not too far from you, a CF vendor, County Corvettes in West Chester.
I would start with Mr. Clean Majik Eraser, which works for the scuff marks on the bottom panel. Probably would work on the dash but if the surface is scratched you may be out of luck.
I would also test a small area before wiping down the entire area in case there is some discoloration.
Prolly ought to post in the Car Care forum as well.
I just use Leather conditioner wipes on my door panels. It may not be the right thing to do.... but Ive seen no harm done and been using them on my door panels for a couple of years now. I also only have to hit them about once every couple of months with a little wipe down. They don't feel greasy and they look nice and clean. Not sure how this would look on the dash board.
Thank you, and where might I find this dresssing or polish or cleaner or ?, But it sounds like it is worth a short. I just tonight bought a container/bottle of 'Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant (Dash &Trim restorer)
Autozone had it and it's if for not, one I haven't tried yet. So I love if I could find the Aerospace 303. Thank you !

You 100% right, but you guys have been a real help already. But I cruise over the 'Car Care' section and post there and see what kind of help I can garner. Thank you All ! and Merry Christmas.
Recommend Aerospace 303 Vinyl cleaner to remove the staining and Mr. Clean Eraser (lightly) for any build up. Follow it up with Aerospace 303 Protectant. Forum vendors like Auto Geek carry Aerospace 303 products.
