I carry my FOB in my left front pants pocket. As a result when entering or exiting my C-6 the alarm will go off not always but at times.
I recently purchased a Key Wrap from Laska Entertainment and it solved my problem.
George, you know you can personalize your vehicle to not blow the horn, right? The default is to blow the horn three times when it thinks you've left the FOB in the car, which can happen if you close the door but remain close enough to the vehicle that it continues to receive a signal. You can opt out of this feature as part of the vehicle personalization process.
I think it's the Laska Entertainment that's throwing us off. When I google "Laska Entertainment" I get a motion picture production company in Pasadena that doesn't seem to have much to do with fob wraps. Maybe you got your wrap in some sort of gift bag at a movie party or something?

I don't want my key any more bulky than it already is. Any sleeve adds too much.
So here is what I did. I popped my FOB open and placed a piece of tape over the electronics for the alarm. No more "accidental" warnings, it is deactivated.
