GM doesn't make an OEM remote starter for the C6, but if after-market starters are available they're only for A6 automatics. You can remote start a car with an A6 transmission in Park, but not an M6 in Reverse.

tried 6 different alarm installation shops. not a single one wanted to touch my car. a few of which have been in business for over 30 years. there's no easy module created for our cars for auto start and to wire it up to actually work requires resistor and relays which may cause complications to other delicate pieces of equipment which the shops do not want to be responsible for.
