to drive the vette while harmonic balancer is wobbling???

im obviously going to change it but can i continue to drive it until the new part arrives?

Why would you,knowing that catastrophic failure may result(comes apart) while driving?

This place would be a ghost town if people took this advice....

And no, I wouldn't chance it. If the balancer comes loose it's instant catastrophic failure.

There's no way to know for sure. How severe is the wobble? Has the crank-pulley bolt loosened? What condition are the belts in...are any starting to fray? It's never ideal but a slight amount of wobble can be within 'normal' operating parameters. I've got a very slight wobble to my crank-pulley seemingly toward the outer circumference only. It's been this way for years. The car is pushed hard on the track and the wobble hasn't caused any problems. In your case no one can say for sure if it's safe to drive the car. You might be fine but IMO...when in doubt better safe than sorry. Ultimately, you have to make the call. Good luck!
