Melting Slicks
Got a pile of snow from the plow in front of the third garage door were the Vetts live, er hibernate. Live south of Cleveland in the snow belt. My Tahoe is already salt encrusted. Once they salt the roads unless it all melts and a heavy rain washes away any residue my Corvette season is over. Wah
I'm between Cleveland & Akron; Sat and Sun are supposed to be dry and 40ish here so I am planning on taking my Vette out for a drive. Can't resist it. It has been on the battery tender since we left for XMas in FLA. Back now and wife even suggested driving it today but it did flurry as forecasted. I'll hose it off Sunday afternoon.

Drove it to Katonah Saturday before last. Nice drive up the Hutch to 684.....but being a bit careful with regard to cold weather reduced traction. Actually saw a few snow flakes, but literally just a few. I'll drive it as long as the weather holds and no rain, snow & ice. Not like this time last year......

Still driving here in Mass, just have to pick the days.
Went out the other day, warm and I thought dry.
But overnight condensation with freezing temps made the roads bad enough for the salt trucks
Salt everywhere, but traffic cleared a path in the middle of the road so wasn't all bad

So far the great white Snow God has ignored St. Louis. We had a bit of dandruff Tuesday morning, but not enuf to bring out the salt trucks. If this is global warming, I'll take it!

I'll be driving my car every day except when we get over 3" of snow. I want to try out the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's and see how they do.

Nashua,N.H.Vette put away!I would like to take it out for a spin, but the city keeps putting out piles of salt at the intersections? Also the local Sam's Club that I go to insists on treating their parking lot like the rim of a Margurita glass!Oh well spring is 12 weeks away!

It's my daily driver and only car. Hoping the weather holds out, otherwise, I'm renting a car for the bad days. It's inevitable that come mid to late January and February, we will get at least some snow. Enjoying while it lasts though.

I drove mine yesterday. But it was cold. Only got up to 70 yesterday and it was in the 50's last night. LOVE those heated seats.
