Default Need help with corvette wheels

I have a 2009 c6 with 18x8.5 inch wheels for the front. I want to add the grand sport 18X9.5 inch wheels. Does anyone know if they will fit or do I need to add maybe a 1/4 inch wheel spacer so that they will?

So the only choice I would have is to add the grand sport or Z06 fenders.

Why the wider wheels?

If your talking about doing it on just the front, it will work with the narrow OEM tire. I have a friend who put on OEM Z06 wheels (with a wide booty) and ran them for over a year without a problem.

They come out right to the edge of the fender on the front with the narrow tires (245).

The rears would definitely stick out from a narrow body fender.

Thanks for the help...we have the z06 conversion on the rear so that would look fine, just need to do the front conversion so they dont stick out.

I wouldn't do it unless you do a widebooty conversion.

Depends on the offset. My front street wheels were 18 x 9.5 and they fit fine. My front track wheels are 18 x 11 and I use a 3/4" spacer. No problems with either. I'm on my phone now but I can check the offsets later. Your wheel manufacturer/vendor should be able to size them properly.
