Got one for my 05 vert and gotta say the only time it is effective is when the windows are up...and that's a bad look. Pretty easy install...just not worth the effort.
Just sayin...

I'm seriously considering the "Vette Net", easy to install (minutes to do!) and based on what the friends have said, considerably reduces the turbulence in the cabin.. only issue is need to remove before can put the top up.. not familiar with the factory windscreen but when ordering my vert I had looked at them, too much work to install was my thought.

Have yall given any thought to the custom wind restrictors I sell? You can get them custom etched and lighted or have nothing at all on them... You also don't have to take them out everytime you put the top up.

I suggest you do a search. You will find 50,000 threads on the windscreen already. Some, like me, think it's useful and cuts out about 50% of the turbulence. But, I only use it because the wife likes it. I don't have enough hair left to worry about the wind and only use it when the wife is with me. If the wife is happy, it's got to work...right? You will find others that laugh at them and think they look stupid. Do the search and read to your hearts content.

You should have received instructions with your GM windscreen unless you bought it used? Your post doesn't say. If you bought it used, did you also get the brackets that go with it? Many have bought used ones without the brackets and they are useless without them.

If you need the instructions, PM me your email. I will scan them and email them to you.

Its for the wife or girlfriend!
The installation of the brackets was a bit more difficult than expected although not too bad. After that, install & removal of the screen is easy. I does detract somewhat from the overall appearance of the car but, it cuts down on turbulence and makes conversation easier. I only use mine when the wife is in the car.

I have one of the GM style VettNets - new, in the box, never used.. Was a gift and am debating on an install or selling it at a slight loss. PM me if interested.

I agree - it's for when the 'little woman' is parked in the passenger seat.
