I've had Sports on my '07 for a while now and they sound great but I've always wanted something a bit louder. I just purchased the Extreme kit with 4" tips and will be installing them within the week. So for anyone on Long Island or within a reasonable distance, I will have a set of Corsa Sports P/N 14169 for sale shortly. Send me a PM if interested or keep an eye out for my FS thread after this weekend.

Please report back after driving around with your Xtremes for a bit. I love my Sports, but am quietly pining for something louder. I've been reluctant to make a change though as I'm afraid of maybe "too much of a good thing". Would rather have a bit too quiet than danged - too loud.

If you want your Sports louder but not ridiculous, leave them on but add some headers. Oh yeah!

I love mine, the quad tips look great all polished up. No drone as well, but when you step on it, she really sounds mean. I'm getting my LT's put on in April so I hope the Sport maintains its' no drone. I bought my vette with the system already on it. I couldn't justify spending 1.5K on a part that gives me about 5RWHP, but the prior owner did so god bless him. If you have the money go for it.

I've had both and there is a MAJOR difference. Any additions (or subtractions) will change the sound. Headers, high flow cats or offroad.

I had the Corsa Sports (for that's all they make for the Z06). IMO, they were too quiet until you hit 5000rpm+ then they got loud. The no drone is nice, but it left me wanting some more sound in the mid range. Although any aftermarket exhaust sounds better than the stock system on any Vette.

Here's my personal experience.

Bought my 2006 C6 used with just the cat-back Corsa Sport mufflers.

Installed 1-7/8" LG Super Pro headers and high-flow cats.

Corsa Sport mufflers droned with the headers.

Installed B&B Fusion Mufflers. The valve actuators in the B&B Fusions doesn't work as well as the NPP mufflers. Always had issues adjusting them, not sealing right, had to replace rubber seals inside, and the droned while in the closed position.

Installed NPP mufflers and solved ALL issues. No drone, super quiet with the flaps closed. Nice and loud with them open. Sound is between Corsa and B&B. Corsa is raspy and tinny...B&B is very low toned. NPP is in between them. Not as raspy as Corsa, and not as low toned as B&B.

I have video of all of them here on youtube:

My car is pretty heavily modified already. I have every bolt-on and then some including AR Headers. My car sounds great with the Sport Exhaust but I'm the kind of guy that wants to rattle the walls of my house when I start the car up. Heads and Cam are next on my list.

where is a good place to buy below retail and discounted pricing? I'm in the market for a Corsa Sport CAT back.

Thanks!

I've had Corsa exhaust on 3 out of 6 Corvettes that I've owned and think they're great!

I just did my 07 vette with LG headers, high flow cats, xpipe, and corsa xtreme. It sounds great. I wish I would have bought the 4" tips though.

Love mine too. Had the system installed while attending one of NCM's C6 Bashes. Bought the system from Midamerica and CORSA did the install for free. Can't beat that!
