Would you buy the Corsa Sport exhaust?
Looking for an exhaust system for my 07 base Vette (no mods-yet). Did the research, listened to the sound bits, and You Tube. It somewhat helped. I've read the Manufacturer's descriptions. Even called one. By description, the Corsa Sport system seems to offer what I want. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has one. I miss it with the Flowmaster for the Mustang, the Borla for the truck. Both, were simply a bit louder than stock. So hoping for 1 out of 3.
Does anyone have this system on their Vette? Or, have you heard the system live on someone's Vette? I'm looking for a muscle sound at ideal, and a crisp tone through the gears and no drone when cruising. Needs to be much more aggressive than stock, but not the loudest tier. Want music and talk in the cabin when not going through the gears.
If you're an owner, let me know your expierence. If not, let me know what you have and how close it is to what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the help.

IMO, Corsa Sports are the best for C6's. I've got nothing bad to say about 'em. They have a good tone during normal driving then get loud and nasty sounding with some hard driving. Most importantly is THEY DON'T DRONE! You can talk to someone and/or hear the radio while blasting down the highway. They also flow much better than stock. When I installed Sports on my 1st C6 along with a CAI, my fuel trim readings went way positive in my computer indicating dramatically increased airflow. After I tuned the car, it became an animal.
IMO, Extremes are too loud and they drone at certain highway speeds.
Corsa touring is too quiet and just a slight improvement over stock.
Good luck w/ whatever you choose....

I had Flowmasters and the droning was really bad. I got the Sport and love it.

You want a muscle sound? DON'T buy the Corsa sport!!! Look at the Borla Atak system or Billy Boat. They produce the sound that a vette should have and not that European sports coupe sound the Sports produce.
BTW...YouTube is misleading when it comes to sound. I went to shows and asked people to let me listen to their systems firsthand. Some even took me for rides. Vette people love to help other vette people.

I've heard them but don't have them since I have NPP on my car. IMO, they're perfect w. no drone and loud enough. Remember that drone is somewhat subjective: some hear it, and some don't even at the same rpm. But if you call and ask Corsa, they'll tell you. Also, note that Borla recently came out w. a new exhaust that doesn't drone. They came on C6 to announce it; do a search and see if you can find it. I'd talk with them, too. You may want to fill in your profile as to town you live in; who knows, someone on CF may live nearby w. a Corsa Sport?

The very first mod I made to my new 2007 C6 convertible was the Corsa Sport exhaust. I made it a point to actually listen to different systems installed on a car just like my own . . . both from the driver's seat, and standing on the curb. I listened to six different systems at idle, drive-by and fly-by . . . then I immediately ordered the Corsa Sport. I have never regretted it for one moment, and neither will you. Just the right sound, no drone, and a quality product. What are you waiting for? Go do it!!!!

For a high end sound the Corsa Sport is the only way to go, the Extremes are way too loud. The Sports have no drone, but a crisp tone to them while driving and they roar at wide open. If you want to sound/drone like a Bubba try Borla or Billy Boat.

Do not have them, but one of my friends does. They sound okay but too quiet for my taste.

I would recommend headers and X pipe and tune...true performance and sound....exhaust system is fine the way it is....aftermarket axle back exhaust is an expense with little benefit...

Exhaust sound like most other mods are personal opinion at best... Unfortunately for you, you probably won't get too many opinions here!!!
As to the sports, I personally love the things, my last 3 Vett's all had them... Agree with many of the previous posters, if you want a mustang type muscle car sound DON'T get the Corsa's.. If you want a higher end more European sound than Corsa is the way to go..
It's what you prefer... One thing for sure with Sports, NO DRONE ...

I have the Corsa Sport on my 07 and it sounds great. It's just not loud enough for me so I bought a set of long tubes and catless X-pipe. It should sounds really good this summer. IMO Corsa and bullet mufflers are the best way to go on a C6.
