Have a top flight and it works great, actually this is my second one, the first was for a coupe and this one is for a GS.

I like the Top Flight. I am one of the ones who thinks the plate looks better centered on the car Vs off to the side. Although the wide body cars are front Vs bottom breathers there is no issue with the plate blocking air flow into the radiator at normal highway speeds. I always remove the plate when I go to the track since there could be an issue at 150 mph. I would worry about any non stock mount holding up to the high air pressure and buffeting seen by the plate when it isn't solidly mounted like the stock plate mount does. I can just imagine the hideaway plate holder that swings the plate under the fascia ripping off at that speed.

Wish I didn't have to run one at all but yesterday I ran through a police road block (other direction being checked), took the long way back home and immediately ordered the Zip plate holder. Don't want to pay a $150 ticket for no front plate.
Whichever way you go you will get used to it.

Actually, center removable center mount offered by Topflightpro is very nice. The mounted plate creates two vortices (one on each side) when the Vette is at speed producing a ram air effect direct to the air intake...I think it's add just as much hp as those aftermarket CAI's..

I don't need a front plate here in AZ, but my .02; why not just drill 2 holes in the front spoiler on the GS and mount the plate with the 2 bottom holes. The front spoiler gets it's share of destruction anyway.

I bought one and the install wasn't an issue.

I found out later they can be had for $30 bucks less.. Shop around before you buy.

I like it but I don't like the price from Zip, over $170.00.

I think the ZIPS plate holder is the best, I have it on my Z06.

Thanks!

Specifically I'm referring to this one:

The website is:

I have it on my 2010 GS, in addition I hate the center mount plates. To me it looks odd blocking the exact center of the grill opening.

IMO this side mount looks much better! Comes on and off in seconds.
