2012 C6 1LT Bluetooth question
A down the street neighbor is looking into buying a 2012 C6 1LT Auto from CarMax. The car is being transfered to the Henderson, NV., CarMax store from Arizona. Does this 2012 1LT C6 come with bluetooth or is that part of the higher 2/3/4LT option packages. What have you folks done to make a late model year C6 bluetooth capable? TIA.

No personal knowledge but it looks like 2012 didn't change anything. 1LT doesn't come with BT according to this post from Ken Fichtner:

I replaced the standard radio with a Kenwood DNX6960 Nav/Audio unit which has built-in bluetooth, XM/Sirius satellite radio, Garmin navagation, iPod connectivity, and back-up camera provision. The unit works with my steering wheel radio controls (radio only, I have an '08 so no bluetooth steering wheel controls) and I retained my OnStar, factory RAP (reserve accessory power) and factory warning chimes. The unit loads my phone book automatically and calls are made either by voice or touch screen selection from the on screen phone book. I even downloaded the stock nav logo backround splash screen so the unit does look factory. Great unit, I highly recommend the Kenwood units and Dennis at Double D Mods (froum vendor) will provide a great price and super customer service.
