08's....LS3, improvements and well into the C6 build cycle, solid choice. Due diligence....have a GM dealer look at the history and have the car inspected, no matter the year you can always run in to issues.

that car is a proverbial BRICKHOUSE. Only potential PITA is oil pan leak on LS3's in general ... some have it, some don't. Other than that, if it's got the options you want, write the check and get ON IT!!!

Why is the 08 better different than the 05-07?
Thinking about buying a c5 or c6
I already have a c3 vert so honestly just starting to do my research for my next addition.

Thanks all

The-Usual-Advice: Get the newest C6 you can afford.

That said, right now I think the 08/09 Corvettes offer the best combination of value & reliability & significant year-to-year improvements.

Read & decide for yourself which improvements are important to you: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1563694469-post5.html

Most folks agree the LS3 engine that debuted in '08 is a big plus.

Which means you might find a great deal on an 06/07.

Enjoy your search.

My vert is my second '08. I bought a JSB coupe new and kept it for 3 years (57K miles) and traded it last May. In September I purchased the '08 vert. No problems with either. They are great cars. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

You might consider adding your location to your profile. A lot of guys on the forum will let you know if they see something that you have expressed interest in located close to you.
