Welcome to the Forum!!! Well, I have one. Very low mileage but it's been great and trouble free so far. If you have specific questions or any questions about the C6 Generation cars just ask in the C6 General Forum. Good luck. Enjoy the Forums.

I have an 08 with 30k miles and no issues. This is a great year for a used vette, a few good upgrades over the 07, LS3 motor, better steering to name a few.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your vette.

It's almost 5 years old.

Seriously, 2008 is an excellent choice.

I can't think of any 2008-specific concerns. No general concerns, either.

Of course, do the same due diligence you would for any used car (miles, condition, history, etc etc). And if possible, have a mechanic familiar with the C6 Corvette check it out.

Corvette is a low car, so scrapes are common & expected on the front spoiler -- no problem unless you're fussy. But definitely look underneath for real damage ($$$), especially to front end, radiator support, rocker panels, etc.

Enjoy your search!

Bought mine this winter and LOVE it. As was mentioned, save some money for stuff you never even knew you wanted......as there is PLENTY of it Think of the initail purchase as a starter kit......after that is where the real money is spent!

Good luck with your search

Great car. Mine has 15,500 trouble free miles. Only problem was a commonn one with C6's. Had the read end diff fluid replaced to fix rear end clutch chatter in tight turns under warranty. Fixt!

Better learn how to use the escape handle so you don't get locked in.This just happened to a friend at work when his battery ran down with him in it.

Pre-Congrats on the vette.

And welcome to the forum.

Only concern about you getting the '08 is that you haven't already gotten it.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM AND C6 - 2008 ARE GREAT but I am prejudice. I have only had mine since December, 2011 and I purchased it with 18,500 miles. I got 26,800 miles on it now and have had no problems. Good luck.

I purchased my 08 new and have 41K plus on the clock with no real issues. There are some areas to look out for-especially the oil pan leaking. An easy fix, sometimes only needing to re-torque the oil pan bolts.
