The thermostat mod (a lower temperature opening thermostat) will do nothing to keep your car from overheating but will cause increased fuel consumption and engine wear, it is a modification for people who have very limited knowledge about cars. The 2008 has improved transmissions and steering compared to earlier models, and more of the new model problems of the C6 were finally corrected.

lol did u have a bad problem with overheating once...?
lots of guys go with a lower therm and reprogram their fans to go off earlier, thats all...thats what I did with my C5Z...

Its getting even harder to choose nw ><! I thought 2008s were less reliable... Btw what are the issues with the 2006-2007 I know 2005s have a diff problem
