Carlisle Blue Number?

I thought it was a little bit of an unusual color when it first came out. Some people even called it "girly". Then I went to a big Corvette show last month and saw a Coupe, a GS, and a ZO6 all in attendance, and I really dug it in person.
Well... yesterday, we joined the Carlisle Blue ranks...
2LT GS A6 with Nav, NPP, and F55! It was owned by a woman who must have driven it daily (!) because she owned it from Jan 2012 until about a month ago and racked up 14K miles. She also took it through the car wash... a lot... because there are the tell-tale scratches in the clear coat on the hood. But, not all Corvette owners are "perfect" like those of us here. It has now landed in a very loving home and will be a weekend warrior only - and no damn car washes!
Just a couple quick snaps with my phone as I was taking delivery in Houston yesterday.
Got her home last night and gave her a thorough two bucket hand wash, clay bar'd the roof and mirrors, and then a full coat of wax before I could bear to leave the garage and collapse in bed. This weekend I'm pulling the wheels off and painting the rotor hats. OCD is serious business!
EDIT: For the data trackers, sticker indicates build in 12/11 and last 4 of VIN are 6258.

Welcome to the club. I have owned my CB coupe since March of 2012. I have had exactly three people call it a "girly color" while scores of others (with much better taste) instead express some version of....
"OMG, that is just the most GEORGOUS Corvette I have ever laid eyes on..."
Or words to that effect....
Good luck!!

got my wifes 3LT vert about a month ago--she loves it, esp after i totalled her Monterrey red 2007.Funny though, both of us think its alot fasterthan her 07..I checked the buildsheet, and found that the car was on loan to an automotive tech schoolin Sanford Flfor almost 2 years--its a12and only had 300 miles on it.Figure they must have fooled with the tune, but its much faster

Bob, check the build sheet again. Where your '07 said LS2, your '12 says LS3.
Sarcasm aside, yeah, possible they retuned the PCM. These cars leave a bit on the table with the stock tune. Factory tune is conservative because Chevy knows a handful of cars will unfortunately fall into the hands of idiots and they don't want the warranty burden.
NOTE: If your PCM tune was modified, a dealer can void your warranty! Normal procedure at a lot of dealers is to pull the tune on a Corvette that comes in with any powertrain issues. If they see the tune has been changed, they can void the warranty at their discretion. Granted if something minor like a stereo **** breaks, they aren't bothering the check the tune.

Congrats bro. Looks awesome. I have one in the garage and yet I sat there and starred at your pictures as if I don't own one !!! lol Looks awesome. Sold one of my cars on Wednesday and ordered a 2014. Dealer said they should be able to order in another week or two tops. Can't wait to have both in the garage ! Have fun driving the new beast. Peace. Pre

I have a 12 GS that is CB. I have had it about a year, coupe 3LT with performance exhaust and 6 speed manual. I will have to get the VIN and post. Love it and like other tons of compliments on the color.

I have a base 2LT coupe in CB and I don't understand what the early "haters" were talking about. Not a day goes by that somebody sees the car and exclaims some form of.."My god! What is that color? It is the prettiest color I have ever seen on a Corvette"
The general manager and service managers at my local Chevy dealership are in love with the color. The mechanics come out of their bays and just stand and watch when I pull in (oil changes and visits only. The car has been mechanically perfect).
Yet, I can't put out of my mind the pages of threads on every Corvette site LAMBASTING the color when it first came out. I remember words like "hideous" and "What was GM thinking?"
Geez, now people are out there scrambling to find one this color. I have to admit, I am feeling a bit "special" at the moment...

Like so many things. I think people pre-judge based on 2D photos. But I know that photos don't adequately capture the beauty of the Carlisle paint color. Carlise blue is a chamelion color that can look light blue, silver or even turquoise depending on the light.
You Carlisle blue owners should consider yourselves fortunate because a) you own beautiful cars; and b) hopefully GM doesn't re-release the color any time soon which make your cars rarer and more collectable.
