It seems appropriate. I'm not sure but it's possible Chevy paid to have one of it's products (albeit an old one) featured in the Burger King commercial.
the vette isn't what got my attention in that commercial.... the fact the jay leno is doing a burger king commercial that just didn't seem to suit him at all.
Sold the car last year but I did get him to sign the console cover of my C6. My wife has been his makeup artist for years (whenever he shoots in Las Vegas). I had changed the rotors on my '06 vert and a mysterious vibration was driving me nuts. She got him to call me up a give me a ration of $hit for screwing with the car. He was hilarious. Great guy.

Just like Jay Leno paid to be in the ad. You can bet the owner of that gorgeous Corvette was paid a handsome "appearance fee". It is, actually, a very clever ad that was well written and nicely executed.

and I like Leno, but yea it was for some reason weird seeing him do a BK commerical... who knows how that got put together... maybe GM and BK got together, figured out they wanted that car and then said ..who's a car guy that would like doing a shoot with a C1... of course Jay Leno
