Silver looks so much better. When I first saw a Torch Red with silver wheels, I was really amazed at how good that combination looks. The whole wheel well area just looks dark with the comp gray wheels. I'd go back to the silver for sure.

I'd go with the silver.

The TR with gray looks dull to me.

I believe I saw a thread that said lighter wheels on dark vehicles and visa versa look best for contrast. I dont always agree as the centenial black vette with black wheels/red ring are to die for...having said that, yours looks best with the CG wheels. YMMV.

cheers,

first off you did NOT give us a fair comparison.......you used a flash on one pic and not the other....no way to give a realistic 'comparo' ! so.......put one set on one side and another on the other side....drive for a week and see what comments you get !

Certain colors look outstanding with gloss black wheels, Torch Red is one of them.

I've never cared much for the styling of the Grand Sport wheels, so toning them down with grey makes sense. NOW, tone down or eliminate that silly chrome fender badge.

Thanks you all for your responses and comments. I am somewhat surprised so many people like the silver wheel. I have always liked the silver wheels, and thought I was in the vast minority. I think the silver wheels look great on most Vettes. I had Comp Gray wheels on my last two Vettes, I like them. Once I put the Comp Gray wheels on my Vette, I realized I like both wheel colors equally. They each give the car a different look, and I like each look equally. Usually I am a very decisive person, but I am indecisive in which wheel I like better on my car. You guys surprised me with how many like the silver wheels, which helps me understand I was not crazy for thinking the silver wheels look good on my Torch Red Vette.

Unfortunately for me I sold the silver wheels yesterday, only because I did not want to store them. So if I want to change back to silver I will have to buy some new ones. But I am totally happy with the look of the Comp Gray on my car, and I will not look back or regret my decision.

Thank you for your input. It proves to me that although I was somewhat on the fence to which look is best, either way looks good to many people.

Thanks all.
