Anyone paint their stock 05-07 wheels/pics?
Im looking to possibly paint my stock wheels flat or gloss black.I thought about using paint stripper and polishing them but painting may be easier.Has anyone done this?I have a few chips in paint im gonna sand first....

Do a search for "black wheels" and you'll see a few.
If you're thinking of black wheels you could always spray yours with Plasti-Dip. If you don't like it then simply peel it off. Lots of youtube videos showing how to do it.

don't paint them. It was a $400 mistake for me. The 1st time you dismount a tire the paint is coming off. And with black it really looks like **** .For the same price get them powdercoated.

Today my brother inlaw(upst8z06) and i took my wheels off,sanded and primed them.Tommorow we are gonna wetsand and do them in duplicolor graphite.These are just summer temp wheels until he gets new ones for his z then those will be going on mine with wider fenders!!!

Melting Slicks
If you're looking to do a black finish, why not look in to Plastidip? It's inexpensive and best of all, if you don't like it or go to sell the car, it's removable.

I really liked those five spoke wheels. I saw a nice clean original C5 (white vert with black top) with chrome five spoke C6 wheels and it looked great....very "correct" for the car.
