Just got my 2011 base coupe, read on the forum should have jacking pucks, where are they located in the car, checked the 2 compartments in the hatch none there. Also the manual says should have the inside hatch release by the latch, cant find that either.
you make or purchase the pucks. the hatch open.. there is a button by left knee driver side that opens the gas door and one that opens back hatch, there is a button rubber covered above license plate that will open hatch... if you mean the key slot to open hatch, thats above the rear license plate. if you mean the pull tab to open doors thats inside hatch on left.

Congrats!
I guess you haven't needed fuel yet... the inside hatch release button is next to the fuel door button.

Here's the outside hatch release button. But it only works when you have your FOB.
(I covered the key slot with blue tape to keep dirt out.)
If you need to manually open the hatch, use your metal key. This works even if the battery is dead. It also opens the hatch if the FOB is missing -- but then the alarm wakes the dead, so don't test it at 2:00 am like I did.
Of course, you can also open the hatch by pressing the FOB button.
Enjoy your new C6!

I've used a thin phone book or two magazines in a pinch as an emergency jack puck . At times its hard to find a jack that goes low enough on the front end .
