Did 15% everywhere, except the Windshield, I did 80%. The windshield doesn't appear tinted at all, and doesn't impair my night vision either, yet it still rejects almost as much heat as normal dark tint.

I have legal 20% on the hatch glass and illegal 50% on the rolldowns on both Vettes and my pickup, also never been stopped for it or hassled otherwise.

I have illegal in here California, which is any tint on the driver and front pass doors, of course so do half the cars on the road here.

Windshield - 70% (tint is barley noticeable but it keeps the heat out)
Driver and passenger - 50%
Rear - 30%
Ceramic tint. So far no trouble from CHP, knock on wood.

35 sides and 20 back. Legal in TX. They wont pass inspection if they are darker.

Stock on the Vette. My Stang had 5% all around and a slightly overextended eyebrow strip. I never got any crap from the local authorities but I ended up having to get it removed (at least the front windows) after getting a fix-it ticket on base. I was pretty pissed off about that but what can you do. They actually expected me to just take the points and didn't want to inspect the car after I peeled the tint off myself.
Personally after going with 5% it was wayyy to dark at night. It looks great but at night it simply was dangerous. I will never put any type of tint on my front windshield and honestly I will probably keep it whatever the legal limit is from now on. If your insurance company wanted to they could use the tint against you.

2012 GS......Limo tint on the rear hatch. It keeps the sun from fading the rugs. It's legal here if you have a right and left hand mirror (whcih of course all vetts have).
The side windows have the factory tint which is plenty dark enough .......so why become a moving target for the CHP?.

No tint for three reasons.
1) Primary reason is I don't like looking through it, particularly at night and on cloudy days.
2) If I want sun protection for my eyes, I can simply put on sunglasses, and take them off when I don't want them.
3) The interior is an important element of the overall look of a car IMO, and dark tints obscure seeing the interior along with the exterior.
I'd imagine that I'll be in a minority in this poll.

I am really not sure--- just kind of the standard in Phoenix--- dark as legal on sides, dark as legal on back (darker than sides- "limo tint") and nothing on front other than the way it comes from the factory.

Kind of supports the theory that a good 30% of Vette owners are totally irresponsible. Not bad, or at least certainly no worse than other owners of other cars.
