Tire pressure sensor question
Or are they taking the tires off your old wheels to put them on your new wheels?
If you're not keeping your old wheels/tires/sensors for a second set, then just swap your old sensors into your new wheels.
Tire pressure sensors have a "design life" of 10 years, so yours should be good for a number of years.
If you do use your old sensors, have the tire shop put them back on the same corner of the car they're on now. If they get mixed up they'll still work, but the DIC info about pressures won't correspond to the actual location, i.e., if the sensor that was originally on the right front gets mounted on the left rear, when the DIC says "Right Front 20psi" it will really be talking about the left rear.
If you get a new set of sensors you can get them from a forum vendor for about $250 for a set of 4.
The 2005-2009 C6 uses a gray color sensor, GM Part# 25758220.
