I know what kind of power I put down and I've driven with a variety of tires in various conditions. Given mild temperatures, good tires and decent dry pavement I take some of these accounts with a grain of salt.

It's a matter of an individual's perception of power and the relationship to their driving experiences.People who have never driven anything quicker than a 15 second car are astounded at the accelleration of a 13 second Vette. Those who are comfortable with their 13 second Vette have the same feelings about an 11 second car and so on and so on....
