How does the hood light one come out? I looked at it and do you squeeze the top & bottom of the lens? Thanks!

With hood light you have to be careful not to blow the fuse. If you do the fuse is located in the passenger footwell. The hood LED light is a flat light that shines to one side.

Ok then the light bulb is like the trunk ones. But how did you get the lens cover off or does the entire assembly pull free from hood liner?

Default Help on C6 Bulbs

I just wanted to thank all the people out there who posted hints for C6 bulb replacement. I found a lot of good things through the forum. The rear side markers are accessed through the outside taillights. The glove box light is accessed by removing the panel around the glovebox, lowering the glovebox, and then removing the assembly where the light is. The backup lights are reached by going over the diffuser and just pulling them out. The footwell light I found were easily obtained by removing the panel they are in, then removing the light housing and then snapping them back into the housing. The map/mirror lights were , for me, best obtained by using a paper clip to remove cover, then using a small zip tie to get out the bulbs. These were all sugestions from others, I just kind of lumped them together since I just did all my light changes today on my C6 Grand Sport. Thanks again to all the forum posts to help us out.
